Member Update Newsletter

July is when the winter gets exponentially tough, which is why staying consistent is even more important. Halfway through 2026, treat the year like a marathon, not a sprint, and pace yourself to keep on moving.
At Erindale Leisure Centre, we are happy to be a part of your fitness journey through the misty mornings and frosty evenings.
Thank you for being part of our community—we look forward to seeing you in the centre!

Important venue updates

At Erindale Leisure Centre, we strive to create and maintain a safe, comfortable, and quality environment for our guests. As part of this commitment, we are pleased to share several recent improvements completed to enhance our guest experience.
To ensure our members enjoy a safe and pleasant visit, we have undertaken essential pool deck tile repairs. In addition, new lane ropes have been installed to improve pool usage and safety.
We are also excited to announce the installation of new cardio equipment in the gym. This includes traditional treadmills, a stationary bike, a recumbent bike, a SkiErg, a rower, and an elliptical cross trainer—everything you need to support your cardio goals.
Waterways Adventure

Go in a draw to win a Nintendo Switch!
By attending weekly swimming lessons from 1 June to 23 August, children can collect a stamp each week as they continue building the knowledge and confidence needed to stay safe in all types of aquatic environments.
Attend each Waterways Adventure swimming lesson, collect your stamp at the end of every week, and once you collect all the 12 stamps, you will go in a draw to win a Nintendo Switch!

Keep Watch Policy
Parents Supervise, Lifeguards Save Lives
We follow the Royal Life Saving Keep Watch policy, which states that parents/guardians must all times actively supervise the child under their care, including during swim lesson when visiting a public aquatic facility.
Be it casual swimming activities or GOswim Swimming Lessons, we require parents to adhere to our Keep Watch Policy to ensure utmost aquatic safety for children.
Lifeguards and swim instructors are not babysitters. Please supervise your children at all times and remain free from distractions. Mobile phones, tablets, and laptops can limit effective supervision.
